Brides: Tropical Beach Wedding Inspiration

Hello Beauties

Labor Day has come and gone meaning that Summer is unofficially over but, thankfully, I live in Southern California and the weather is warm year round.  The best weather for a beach wedding is often in late September through October.  I love how colorful and happy a tropical beach wedding can be so I decided to share some inspiration from the latest issue of Brides.

Shades of Coral and Turquoise are perfect for a tropical beach wedding

Set the tone with a sea blue invitation

A wedding gown in a lightweight fabric will keep the bride cool, calm and collected

Something Blue for the bride

Make your signature cocktail fizzy and refreshing

Your bridesmaids will feel sexy in this mermaid inspired frock

Low, free-flowing centerpieces will help keep the conversation going all night long

Petit Fours with edible coral make the perfect favor

A pair of starfish sandals will be the perfect relief to keep you dancing all night long

A tropical beach wedding will be a laid back affair so keep the guest list intimate and the food fresh.  A selection of local farm stand favorites like heirloom tomato and cucumber salad will pair nicely with grilled fish tacos and salty tequila shots.

When it comes to beach beauty minimal makeup is best, especially if the sun is blazing.  Be sure to wear your hair long and flowing (especially if you like the messy, sexy bed head look) or have your hairdresser style a soft chignon to keep it looking neat late into the party.
