Weddings are usually filled with bright whites, fluffy flowers and sparkles galore- but what about the couple that has a dark side? Early Fall can be a great time of year to incorporate a darker color palette and heavier fabrics (such as velvet or satin). If you and your groom are especially spooky then have a Halloween inspired wedding where you pledge to love one another “Till Death”. MUUuahhahahahahah!!
You don’t need to ask your guests to dress in costumes to have a Halloween inspired wedding (but I mean, I would totally rock my unicorn outfit, if need be). You can add subtle hints of the underworld to your day by including a Bloody Mary bar as your signature cocktail. Or perhaps have the bartenders in full skeleton makeup. A manzanita tree sprayed with black glitter can greet your guests in a spooky, yet show stopping way.
It is most important to have fun and your show your personality as a couple. Be sure to email me and schedule a consultation for even more unique ideas!
