Today, I have the most adorable, boho-vintage-romantic-chic engagement party for you lovelies! One of my very best friend from college is getting married next year (I’ll be the coordinator, of course!) and her bridesmaids threw her the most amazing engagement party. All the girls came together and designed a vintage-inspired backyard shindig that had an amazing boho, relaxed vibe, which perfectly suits Christina and Tyler’s personality.
I seriously love these two #therealdeal
The party was hosted by Christina’s closest girlfriends at the beautiful new home of one of her bridesmaid’s, Katie. It was so nice to celebrate in her spacious backyard. There was plenty of room for the authentic taco bar with home-made tortillas and the cocktail station, plus their patio can easily become a stage for free-styles by the groom and his pops or a dance party for the girls.
Once you enter the backyard you are greeting by a charming, rustic chalkboard sign pointing us to one of the drink stations. There were crates filled with mason jars that had chalk board labels on them and we could write our name on one to us through out the evening and then take it home with us at the end of the night. Plus, check out the adorable lanterns made from mason jars and a small piece of lace. It is so cool how much thought and work went into the party and I was so impressed with all of the details!
There were 2 drink stations, the one with the mason jar display (wine & beer) and one next to the tacos (with delicious Horchata). The cutest gold bar sign hung from the back porch.
There were tables set up on the lawn with beautiful, rustic, burlap table runners and each table had romantic flowers in mason jars. The dessert table had delicious vanilla cupcakes sitting in delicate, lacy paper wrappers with fresh flowers scattered all around. Plus, a large chalkboard sign with Love is Sweet written in the cutest hand lettering.
My girlfriends are super talented and I was so excited to see all of the details. I was blown away, of course! My favorite has to be the handmade Dream Catchers. They had crochet centers with tons of super long streams hanging down. Plus, add the fact they were hanging from all of the huge trees surrounding the backyard. It was magical!
The party had a photo booth set up towards the back with a chalk board sign letting people know it was an area set up for photos, plus lots of props to play around with. There was a pretty hand made banner that was the perfect backdrop.
The bride has been one of my closest friends since our freshmen year of college. I remember the first day I met Tina and thinking how sweet and quiet she was… That didn’t last long! I love her so much and I am so happy for her and Tyler, they make such an amazing couple! The engagement party was a blast (cheers to the most amazing hostesses) and her wedding will be be even better. I am going to have my MLM face on that evening to make sure everything goes off with out a hitch!
